2009 Grand National Tickets

The Aintree Racecourse offers a wide variety of grandstands and enclosures to Grand National fans. Tickets are priced to suit different pockets, and include a wide variety of catering, betting and viewing facilities. Prices for 2009 Grand National tickets are listed only for race days that have not been sold out for the 2009 event.

Tattersalls Enclosure

Thur: £17 Fri: £28 Sat: £35

The Tattersalls enclosure is the biggest and most popular enclosure at Aintree. Facilities include a viewing area for the parade ground and winners’ enclosure, several pubs and restaurants and big screens to watch the action on the racecourse. The Aintree mound offers views of the run-in.

The West Tip seats in the Tattersalls Enclosure offered covered viewing of the home straight.

Earl of Derby Stand

Thur: £43 to £46

The Earl of Derby Stand offers spectators the best views over Aintree racecourse. The stand offers two tiers of covered seating as well as access to a private bar. The Earl of Derby Stand also offers standing room on its terrace, with close up views of the final stretch and the winners.

The Lord Sefton Stand

Thur: £43 to £46

The Lord Sefton Stand is located beside the Earl of Derby Stand. The stand offers panoramic views of the racecourse from two tiers of covered seating. The Lord Sefton Stand also offers a terrace with standing room.

Princess Royal Stand

Thur: £40

The Princess Royal Stand offers views over two of Aintree’s most challenging obstacles – the Chair and the Water Jump. The Princess Royal Stand also offers standing facilities on the roof, which offers spectators great views as well as access to a private bar.

County Stand

Thur: £60

One of the most luxurious viewing areas on the racecourse. The County Stand features the new Platinum County Lounge, a VIP facility offering views of the Water Jump and the finishing post. Patrons have access to a champagne bar and reserved seating.

A viewing terrace with standing berths is located on the roof of the County Stand, and is one of the most sought after enclosures at Aintree.

Queen Mother Stand

The Queen Mother Stand offers both seated and standing views over the starting gates and finishing posts. All seating in the stand is covered, and the roof enclosure offers excellent views of the parade ring and finishing posts.

Steeplechase Enclosure

Sat: £16

The Steeplechase enclosure is open only on Grand National Saturday. This informal venue does not enforce a dress-code and offers free entry to children. The enclosure offers unreserved seating, betting and catering facilities and live views of the action on big screen television.
